Welcome to the website for the Catholic Chaplaincy to the Universities of London, in the Archdiocese of Westminster.

Our Mission

The Catholic Chaplaincy to the Universities in London fosters the development of Christian faith and practice within the capital’s academic communities. As a visible presence it supports and encourages both students and staff to grow in the knowledge and love of God. It forms a community graced by the Spirit to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed.

• Community

  To provide access to the Catholic Faith Community, its worship, teaching and fellowship and so to provide a place of belonging.

• Spirituality

  To provide a place of encounter with the depths of Christian spirituality through liturgy, prayer, the sacraments and other spiritual exercises.

• Mission

  To make known the Gospel of Christ within the institutions served and to encourage a spirit of service to the world.
