Feeding the HomelessOpen House

    Website

St Patrick’s Church, Soho Square This project is for those who feel passionately about the poor and marginalised in our community. St Patrick’s writes, ‘At the moment we are feeding between 60 and 70 guests each week twice a week, on a Tuesday and Thursday evening (6:00pm to 9:00pm). The Groucho Club and Fornata Restaurant provide our puddings each week.’ The Open House project involves making a commitment of 2-3 hours per shift. You do not have to stay for the entire shift, although most do. The hours are ad hoc and therefore more flexible inasmuch as you may decide to attend Open house once or twice per month. Please remember to take into account the time it takes to travel there and back (on foot it takes about 10-12 minutes each way). The total hours you give over the academic year will depend on your own availability. (However we suggest that you commit to at least one shift per month). St Patrick’s Open House is situated at 21a Soho Square.
