Fr Kensy Joseph SJ is a Jesuit priest. Of South Indian Keralite origin, he grew up in Kuwait. He studied computer science and engineering at university and worked in consulting and finance before joining the Jesuits. ‘I had no intention of ever becoming a priest,’ he says; ‘but once you feel the invitation from Jesus to join him on the adventure of a lifetime, it’s hard to say “no, thanks!”’ He has previously been school chaplain in Ireland and Glasgow and university chaplain at Manchester and Birmingham. Fr Kensy plays chess, reads science fiction and loves the cinema.
