COME AND VISIT THE “NEW” NEWMAN HOUSE!

 In Chaplaincy News

Yes, after 756 years, the canary yellow paint at Newman House has finally gone! Well, you might still find some in the basement if you look hard…

A valiant team of volunteers, led by Oscar, has spent two weeks of the summer holidays giving the Chaplaincy a much needed makeover.

We have gone for what the Dulux catalogue calls “soft cool neutrals”, a combination of “Goose Down” in the lobby, “Welsh Flint” in the rest of the house, and “High Gloss White” on the woodwork. Very classy! Come and visit us soon.

THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered and gave their time. Your reward will be great in heaven. And if you do need to spend any time in purgatory first, you will be delighted to discover that the walls are painted in the same canary yellow…
