What is it? Short and long term (one year) volunteer placements with the Assumption Sisters

 GAP YEAR: Would you like to experience a new culture for a year and serve young people in poor communities as a volunteer? The Assumption Volunteer Programme offers opportunities to share one year of your life in a culture very different from your own in the Philippines, India, Rwanda, & Lithuania.

UK (Newcastle) we also receive each year an international group of young adults to volunteer in creative arts programmes for children with social and educational problems in Newcastle. If you would like to join them then see contact details below. Applications from UK residents are welcome too!

We offer financial and personal support for 10 placements each year connected with the Sisters of the Assumption around the world.
