What is it?

To respond to the growing issue of food poverty in the local area the Blessed Sacrament Church set up a foodbank project. Although it has only been running for 6 month the foodbank is already in high demand, receiving 80 guests each week.

Volunteering Role: The foodbank runs between 11am-4pm every Thursday and is open to all. Volunteers are needed to help with the setting up and running of the foodbank each week and with food collection and supporting the foodbank to keep going.
