Week of Guided Prayer – Retreat in Daily Life – 24 – 29 January

 In Chaplaincy News

An incredible opportunity to have an experience of a retreat in the middle of your daily life as a student. With one-to-one support, via Zoom, from an experienced prayer guide, together with two workshops on prayer.

Each participant meets with their personal prayer guide for a short period each day for five days, at a time that suits your timetable and your time-zone. You also commit to a time of personal prayer each day.

It’s a wonderful chance to begin or deepen your prayer life; to get to know the scriptures in a more personal way; and above all to grow in faith and in love for the Lord who loves you.

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

Last year about 50 students took part, and it was a life changing experience for many of them. Many of them were unsure about starting, but they took the risk and didn’t regret it. Please don’t think this is for “other people” – it is for anyone who wants to grow in their faith and make it more personal, even if they feel they are only just beginning.

This is a cooperation between Newman House University Chaplaincy and the British Province of the Jesuits.

For students and staff at universities in London or Hertfordshire.
