GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST

It was great to be together for our Advent Carol Service at Warwick Street Church yesterday evening. Here is a photo below of some of the choir up in the loft – normally hidden from view. And here are two paintings that Fr Stephen spoke about: A Nativity by Peter Bruegel the Younger (above) in which the Holy Family are right at the end of the queue to get into the Inn and almost lost in the day to day busyness of this Flemish Bethlehem; and the Adoration of the Magi by Andrea Mantegna (below).
